    How do you think of SAS ladies

    3ivoryho 2012-04-19 09:04
    When we talk about SAS ladies, we may feel confused who are they. What does SAS stand for? Here we go:
    SAS = Single + Attractive + Succesful
    Some people use another word to describe SAS ladies which is "leftover ladies". What do you think of them?

    SAS are super good girls but maybe they are too picky and too wonderful to find right partners

    The Jade Channel of TVB Hong Kong has been showing a series on SAS Ladies since last week, and the special series have become talk-of-the-town instantly.  Newspapers,magazines, forums, etc. are flooded with heated discussion about this group of ladies.

    A similar program is expected to project the other gender called "毒男" (dunan).  I will talk about that later in my forum.

    Meanwhile, I find another name coined for the female SAS quite neat:  "bride wanabe" (盛女想當新娘子)

    Whilst reading the Economic Journal (經濟日報) this morning, I came across an article which opined that the fact that the Hong Kong government has based policy issues on the family concept is faulty these days when more and more individuals are leading a "single" family - living alone without worrying about marrying someone (regardless of gender).

    This is worth pondering about.  Likewise, education has become freely accessible online these days if you care to look around for the free coursewares.

    With the heavy investment in education required of our young population, I personally believe that we should break away from the "university degree" is a must concept, just like an individual can choose to remain single all her or his life.

    A high school diploma is the highest education from schooling you need, the rest can be learned on your own in collaboration with study groups.  Thereafter, you will just sit for open exam to establish your tertiary education status, cutting out the expensive tertiary institutions.

    What do you think?

    Yep, it is an opinion from some of us. When a SAS lady has no problem to support herself, she doesn't miss anything about the life, then she starts to think what kind of men she deverves to have. Surely, they would like to have someone who can have the same or even higher position in work and in life....However, it is not as easy as they expect

    Talking about someone who would like to have single life and keep the "single family", as long as they feel the that kind of life is suitable for you better, then, they just do that, and nobody has the right to judge or comment on that which we talked about "univeristy background", it would be the same concept. However, we cannot deny that university diploma seem like a ticket for the graduates to get in the big or nice Co. as the first step of their working life.

    Quite rightly, we form our views quite differently as we grow up.  Mind you, I am speaking at the age of 60 whilst most members are young enough to be my grandchildren if not simply my children.  Haha~~~~
